This week in writing my class is focusing on writing a story about a picture describing animals losing there habitat.Habitat means home for animals. A habitat contains shelter, food, water… Imagine losing all of that. It would be not nice to lose all of that. Animals feel the same way. If they don’t have a habitat they might die and become extinct. I have written a story I would like to share to everyone.
Here is the story:
As tears fell quietly to the ground, we fought as hard as we could to save our habitat. We blew up machines and put up posters and gathered the whole animal neighbourhood to help us with battle. Full of confidence, I stood in front of a big digger van and stopped. But the digger kept on going and going until I hit a tree, yet everyone shouted “Leave us alone! This is our home!”. I looked at everyone fighting and blowing up machines and shouting. I gathered everyone up and told them we can do it! I looked at the sky knowing I was right. I was full of sadness and huge bravery at the same time but still I fought hard as anyone could. We battled until all machines were down. We were strong and cute and even almost extinct. We were happy and glad we did not give up. We had hope and we had confidence, we lived to fight another day….
Have you ever written a story about animals losing there habitat?
